The practice manager and assistant practice manager are responsible for the daily running of the practice.

Our practice nurses conduct the following clinics: asthma, diabetes, coronary heart disease, hypertension, cervical smears, learning disability, CVD risk assessment, contraceptive services, smoking cessation and well persons.
They are also available to give travel vaccinations and childhood immunisations.

District Nurses
The team look after your district nursing needs. They are employed by Bridgewater Community Healthcare and work from Hindley Town Hall. Their duties include visiting patients of any age in their homes, giving practical assistance and professional advice. Each patient’s needs are assessed and their care/treatment is planned accordingly. District nursing sisters are experienced registered general nurses with a certificate or diploma in district nursing.
