We will start to take appointments for flu vaccinations on the 1st September 2021 for patients who are 65 and over. Please ring the surgery to make an appointment. We will let you know the dates of the clinics within the next few weeks. We will also let you know the clinics for patients under 65 at a later date.
AS WE ARE IN A HEALTHCARE SETTING WE NEED TO FOLLOW THE CURRENT GUIDELINES ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT.
Please wear a face mask at all times when in the building and use the hand sanitiser provided as you walk through the surgery
The receptionist will give you an appointment time, please DO NOT arrive early as you will be turned away until your allocated time. Reception staff will greet you at the front door and book you in, check you are okay to attend and take your temperature.
Vaccines will be administered in the waiting room with a privacy screen, therefore, please wear suitable clothing as there is no area for removing tops etc. and there is nowhere for you to put them.
Please DO NOT bring any bags with you as there is nowhere for you to leave them.
ANY SURFACE TOUCHED BY A PATIENT OR THEIR BELONGINGS HAS TO BE THROUGHLY CLEANED BEFORE THE NEXT PATIENT CAN BE SEEN.
We hope you understand why these guidelines are in place, and would appreciate your patience if we have to ask you to wait if you attend early. IF YOU ARE LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT WE WILL HAVE TO ASK YOU TO REARRANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
