We are now taking appointments for flu vaccinations for any patient who will be 65 on the 31st March 2021. The clinics will be held on Saturday 19th September, Monday 21st September and Saturday 26th September. Please ring the surgery to make an appointment.
DUE TO CURRENT GOVERNMENT GUIDLINES FLU CLINICS WILL BE VERY DIFFERENT THIS YEAR AND WE WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF THE FOLLOWING GUIDLINES COULD BE OBSERVED WHEN ATTENDING THE SURGERY. WE CAN ONLY HAVE 6 PATIENTS IN THE SURGERY AT A TIME.
The receptionist will give you an appointment time, please DO NOT arrive early as you will be turned away until your allocated time. Reception staff will greet you at the front door and book you in, check you are okay to attend and take your temperature.
Vaccines will be administered in the waiting room with a privacy screen, therefore, please wear suitable clothing as there is no area for removing tops etc. and there is nowhere for you to put them.
Please DO NOT bring any bags with you as there is nowhere for you to leave them.
ANY SURFACE TOUCHED BY A PATIENT OR THEIR BELONGINGS HAS TO BE THROUGHLY CLEANED BEFORE THE NEXT PATIENT CAN BE SEEN.
Please wear a face mask at all times when in the building and use the hand sanitiser provided as you walk through the surgery
We hope you understand why these guidelines are in place, and would appreciate your patience if we have to ask you to wait if you attend early. IF YOU ARE LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT WE WILL HAVE TO ASK YOU TO REARRANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
